VP member Gary was born and bred in Hull and used to watch the black and whites at the Boulevard.
He went, with his dad, from the 1970s and has fond memories of watching record-breakers like winger Clive Sullivan.
Through the 1980s Gary and his brothers watched that purple period for Hull FC as the Championship and Challenge Cup were among trophies that made their way to west Hull.
Gary left Hull in 1987 and the UK in 2007 but based in Hong Kong he has joined the association to continue supporting the club in a concrete way.
He has been at the MKM on his trips home in the modern era and is proof that once a black and white always a black and white.
The VPs look forward to welcoming Gary to a meeting soon.
